Review: The Printed Letter Bookshop by Katherine Reay

Publication Date: May 14, 2019

My rating: ★★★★

This is a sweet story of unlikely friendships and finding yourself in an unexpected place, like a bookshop! I had seen some other people say this book started a bit slow for them and I would have to agree. It did take me forever to read this book due to lots going on (see previous post), but I do feel like it still took me a bit to get into.

Having said all that, I'm glad I kept on reading this one! In this story we learn about Claire, Janet, and Madeline when Madeline is gifted a bookshop from her late aunt Maddie- the bookshop Claire and Janet work at. Things start out a little cold and uneasy as Madeline just plans to sell the store. But as time goes on and connections are made, we watch 3 pretty lost women find themselves through the bookshop and the community they find.

This is definitely a sweet read and I highly recommend! 💗
